• March 25 - 1:00 Meeting - Marion County Commissioner Carl Zalak - state of the County presentation.

• April 29 - 2:00 Meeting - Governor's Forum - All Candidates invited

• May 27 - 1:00 Meeting - Schoolboard Forum
  Saturday, June 20, (3:00 p.m.) 250th Birthday of America’s Independence.
  July 29 - 1:00 Meeting - County Commissioners Forum: Candidates include; Mike Crimi, Matt Cretul, Erica Hay, and Brian Weidemiller for District 2. Jeff Bairstow, Randall Alvord, Wanda Lasher and Sherri Meadows for District 4. We get to vote for both Districts.

• August 26 - 1:00 Meeting - Primary Results and General Election & Ballot Issues Forum w TPUSA Faith Director, Amber Pennutto

• September 23 - 1:00 Meeting - we discussed the issues and candidates appearing on the November ballot and take a closer look at how Oak Run and Marion County voted. We also welcomed Marion County Sheriff Billy Woods as our guest speaker.
  
  

• October 28 - 1:00 Meeting - Election Overview (Last meeting before the
  Mid-Term Elections!), a look a pending Ballot issues and hear from Ryan Chamberlin, our local Florida member of the House of Representatives
  
  

• November 11 - 1:00 Meeting - Post Election Review - Tribute to Veteran's Day and hear from a few guest Veterans. Remember, Veteran's Day is to honor American Veterans of All wars!

• December 9 - 6:00 at ORCHID CLUB - Christmas Social

2026 looks to be an eventful year as we look forward to Mid-Year elections.

Here are some of the events that we are planning (obviously subject to change as the year goes forward.) We'll be looking for Ideas, Suggestions and Volunteers as we plan for a special 250th Anniversary of America's Independence event. Stay tuned!!

As a reminder, Republican Club elections will be held in January. The four positions on the ballot are: President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Members interested in a leadership role in the Republican Club should email presidentoakrunrc@gmail.com.
